MBA Students formed Creativity Club on Thursday (23-03-2017) inspired after an interactive session with the students in the Institute by the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States National Innovation Foundation (NIF) Coordinator Brigadier P. Ganesham, who is also the Founder- President of Palle Srujana (active 10 year old NGO) and Chief Coordinator of Honey Bee Network in the Telugu States. Though initiation for setting up Creativity Club is taken by the MBA Students, M. Srinivasa Rao, an MBA Student who designed the Logo for Association, stressed that it is meant for anybody from any stream who has any new idea or an innovative thought so that it can be taken up for possibilities, and the tag line for the Club is mentioned as the Hub where Ideas and Innovations take shape. Principal Dr. G.V. Raju inaugurated the Club. Vice- Principal and HOD- CSE Dr. K. Ananda Kumar, HOD- Mechanical Dr. Md. Ahsan, Library Madam Satya Lakshmi and other Faculty participated. Head- Corporate Relations and HOD- MBA Prof. K.V. Satya Prakash mentored MBA students and is responsible for starting the unique concept, in which MBA students M. Satya Sri, Ch. Vijaya Lakshmi Durga, S. Divya, B. Ravi Kumar, R. Sandhya Rani and other department students Sukanya Varma and Kranthi from Civil and few students from Mechanical Engineering Department too took active part.
MBA Association Creativity Club had surprise inclusion of students from Mechanical Engineering Department sharing their innovative ideas in the allotted hour and day, i.e. last hour on Saturday, 01-04-2017, when II B.Tech. (Mech.) Student V. Gopal explained how his newly developed device likely to be named Current Connect functions by continuously taking energy from Sun (Solar) and storing it as well as supplying it simultaneously through different means. Since this idea is being developed into a prototype, it needs to be brought to the notice of National Innovation Foundation (NIF) through Palle Srujana and/ or Honey Bee Networkof AP/ Telangana for possibly obtaining the necessary help, support and recognition. Get- together of MBA Students and other departments/ Mechanical Engineering Students was coordinated by MBA Student M. Satya Sri, and Creativity Club committee and MBA Faculty N. Krishna, K. Vinod Varma as well as many others listened attentively.
B.Tech. (Civil) IV Year Student Ms. P. Sukanya Varma voluntarily participated in the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE)- Hyderabad conducted Seminar on Enhancing Employability Skills among Students on 07-04-2017 (Tuesday) at the behest of HOD- MBA Prof. K.V. Satya Prakash and gave presentation of what she learned there, the new or different ways to impress the employers, to the available MBA as well as B.Tech. Students in the Creativity Club of MBA IV Semester Class on 22-04-2017 (Saturday). She said that due to her involvement, she not only benefitted but also rewarded/ recognized there.
